MetaMask launches Money Account with stablecoin yield and spending in one wallet

MetaMask has introduced the Money Account, a new wallet feature that integrates stablecoin yield and spending capabilities. The account offers users a variable APY of up to 4% on mUSD stablecoin balances. This system utilizes DeFi-powered yield through specialized vaults and includes card spending functionality. Currently, the Money Account is available to users globally, although it is explicitly excluded from the UK and EU markets to comply with regional regulations.
