The Microsoft Surface Laptop 8 and Surface Pro 12 now come with Snapdragon X2 chips

Microsoft has launched the new Surface Laptop 8 and Surface Pro 12, both featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 chips. These devices serve as direct successors to the 2024 Surface models that utilized Snapdragon X1 processors to initiate the Copilot Plus PC initiative with Windows on Arm. The updated X2 Surface hardware is available starting today, continuing Microsoft's integration of Qualcomm technology into its premium laptop and tablet lines to enhance the overall Windows on Arm experience.
