Midterm elections are coming to a close as voters pass judgment on Trump’s second term

US midterm elections conclude on Tuesday as millions of voters decide the balance of power in Washington. Struggling with high prices and the Iran war, citizens deliver a verdict on Donald Trump's second term. These results will determine the makeup of the House of Representatives and Senate, potentially defining the president's final two years. While Democrats remain optimistic about regaining control based on favorable opinion polls, the elections represent a significant political reckoning for the divisive presidency.
