The bizarre twist shaking up Alaska's Senate race and catching Trump's ire

Alaska's competitive Senate race faces controversy as two candidates named Dan Sullivan appear on the ballot. Reports indicate Democratic operatives linked to Mary Peltola's campaign helped recruit Dan J. Sullivan to challenge Republican incumbent Dan S. Sullivan. This situation has caused frustration for Republicans and drawn scrutiny for Peltola. President Trump has accused Democrats of election fraud and demanded criminal prosecution, adding uncertainty to a contest that could influence control of Congress in the midterm elections.
