Modest Mouse has severed ties with guitarist Simon O’Connor following allegations of sending inappropriate Instagram DMs to a minor. An anonymous Reddit post shared messages allegedly sent shortly before the recipient's 17th birthday. In response, the band announced that Seth Jabour from Les Savy Fav will join them for the tour supporting their eighth studio album, An Eraser and a Maze, which begins on August 4 in Ojai, California, replacing O’Connor immediately.
