Maritime data company says stranded ships have begun transiting the Strait of Hormuz

According to Lloyd’s List Intelligence, major shipowners have begun moving vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. This activity follows an interim agreement signed between the U.S. and Iran to end their war. For the first time in 110 days, ships owned by major companies are transiting the strait after having been effectively marooned there. The maritime data company confirms that these stranded vessels are now resuming their transit through the strategic waterway following the diplomatic accord.
