'Unknown trouble' call leads to 65-year-old woman being hit with murder charge

A 65-year-old woman has been arrested on a murder charge following an incident in Palm Desert. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office responded to an unknown trouble call for service at 9:47 a.m. on Friday. The emergency call led authorities to the 35000 block of Gateway Drive, where a victim was discovered dead. The suspect was subsequently taken into custody after the discovery of the body at the specified location provided by the authorities.
