NASA names 4 astronauts on the 'highly complex' Artemis III lunar training mission

NASA announced the crew for the complex Artemis III lunar training mission, scheduled for launch next year. Commander Randy Bresnik, ESA pilot Luca Parmitano, and NASA mission specialists Frank Rubio and Andre Douglas will lead the team. The crew will demonstrate the Orion spacecraft's rendezvous and docking capabilities using test versions of American commercial human landing systems. These systems are currently being developed by SpaceX and Blue Origin to support the mission's critical objectives.
