NASA’s Roman Space Telescope launches to reveal the Universe’s darkest secrets

NASA and SpaceX have launched the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope on a million mile journey to L2. This mission aims to scan vast portions of the cosmos to uncover secrets regarding dark matter, dark energy, and distant worlds. Featuring survey speeds approximately 1,000 times faster than Hubble, the telescope generates 1.4 terabytes of data daily. It is specifically designed to capture wide views of the distant universe, potentially revealing cosmic surprises previously unseen by astronomers.
