NASA Selects Blue Origin As Mars Telecommunications Network Provider

NASA awarded Blue Origin a contract worth up to $700 million to build and operate a dedicated Mars telecommunications network. This infrastructure will support current and future missions by transmitting science data, imagery, and navigation information via a high-performance spacecraft orbiting Mars. Blue Origin is responsible for the design, integration, and launch of the system. The spacecraft is expected by the end of 2028, with the entire network targeted to become fully operational by 2030.
