Police searching for suspect after homicide in East Austin

Austin Police are currently conducting two separate homicide investigations within the city. On Wednesday morning, officers responded to a homicide scene located in south Austin. Additionally, police are searching for a suspect following an early-morning homicide in east Austin that resulted in the death of one man. Both incidents are under active investigation by the APD as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding these fatal events in different sectors of the city.
