2027 National Merit Scholarship semifinalists named across Ohio: See the complete list of students

The National Merit Scholarship Corp. has announced more than 16,000 semifinalists for the 72nd annual National Merit Scholarship Program. These high school seniors, including numerous students from Ohio and various public and private schools in Hawaii, are now competing for 6,700 scholarships. The total value of these awards is $24 million. The program recognizes top academic performers across the United States, identifying a select group of students who have advanced to the semifinalist stage of the competition.
