NC State Fires Head Coach Following Loss to Stanford

North Carolina State University has announced the immediate dismissal of head football coach Dave Doeren on Saturday. This decision follows a 31-28 loss to Stanford, which left the Wolfpack with a disappointing 3-4 record this season. The move concludes Doeren's 14-year tenure as the head coach of the NC State football program. The university confirmed the firing took place immediately after the game, ending his long-term leadership of the team during this current athletic campaign.
