Netflix is shutting down Oxenfree studio Night School, six weeks after its last game was released

Netflix is shutting down two game development studios: Night School and Moonloot. Night School, the developer of Oxenfree and Unhinged, was acquired in 2021 and is being closed six weeks after its latest release, despite Netflix previously praising the title as a successful cloud game debut. Moonloot, a Helsinki-based studio founded by Netflix in 2022, is also being closed. The company expressed gratitude toward the talented colleagues affected by these studio closures.
