‘Icebreaker’ Series Greenlit at Netflix, ‘Gossip Girl’ Alum Amanda Lasher Set as Showrunner With Alex Cooper Producing (EXCLUSIVE)

Netflix has officially greenlit a series adaptation of the Hannah Grace novel Icebreaker. The hockey drama will be led by showrunner Amanda Lasher, an alumna of Gossip Girl, with Alex Cooper serving as an executive producer. The announcement was made by Netflix executive Jinny Howe during a fireside chat with Michael Schneider at the BANFF World Media Festival. This new project brings the popular literary work to the streaming platform under the guidance of Lasher and Cooper.
