Netflix has released the trailer for Wonka's The Golden Ticket, a new reality competition series streaming on Sept. 23. The nine-episode show features twelve Golden Ticket winners and partners competing in challenges within a replica of Roald Dahl's chocolate factory. The series utilizes AI to digitally resurrect Gene Wilder as the host, recreating his voice and likeness. The trailer also features one of the original Oompa Loompa actors alongside the AI-generated version of Wilder.
