Netflix Taps Former Apple Exec Steve Wilson to Lead Podcast Division

Netflix has appointed former Apple executive Steve Wilson to lead its podcast division and oversee podcast acquisitions. This strategic hire follows the recent naming of Peter Rice as the streamer's chief content officer. The move marks a significant expansion for the streaming giant, which initiated its first major foray into the podcasting space during the fall of 2025. Wilson's leadership will be central to the company's growth within this specific content medium moving forward.
