US Mint produces a $1 coin bearing Trump's face to help celebrate America’s 250th birthday

The Treasury Department announced Wednesday that the US Mint is producing a commemorative $1 coin featuring Donald Trump for America’s 250th birthday. Scheduled for release this fall, the coin's final design was approved by the US Commission of Fine Arts. This marks the first time a living president appears on currency. While previously approved, the final version features a gold finish instead of solid gold, adding to various items emblazoned with the President's image.
