Nintendo confirms Switch 2 will get revision with replaceable batteries in Europe

Nintendo confirmed a Switch 2 hardware revision for Europe featuring replaceable batteries to comply with EU regulations. Rolling out this autumn, the system will have approximately 1% smaller battery capacity and weigh 10g more. Including revised Joy-Con 2 controllers with replaceable batteries, the total weight increase is 14g. These changes follow the Right to Repair directive.
