New York Film Festival Unveils Spotlight Slate With Tom McCarthy’s ‘A Statement,’ Jonathan Glazer’s ‘Joy of Joys’ and More

The New York Film Festival has unveiled its Spotlight lineup for the 64th edition, running from September 25 to October 12, 2026. The slate features world premieres of Tom McCarthy’s ensemble piece A Statement, set in 1980 Florida, and Jonathan Glazer’s documentary Joy of Joys. Other notable inclusions are Takashi Yamazaki’s Godzilla Minus Zero, Jesse Eisenberg’s The Debut, Jordan Firstman’s Club Kid, Cristian Mungiu’s Fjord, and Noah Segan's The Only Living Pickpocket in New York.
