Mexican migrant shot and killed by ICE after he tried to run over officers: DHS

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers shot and killed Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston on Tuesday. DHS stated that officers were searching for a different person, but the Mexican migrant resembled the target of their investigation. The agency further reported that the fatal shooting occurred after the man attempted to run over the officers. The incident took place while ICE was conducting operations to locate another individual in the area.
