Israel-bound plane co-pilot behind suspected terror attack was Omani and had worked for Flydubai under a year

Israeli officials are investigating an Omani co-pilot suspected of a terror attack on a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The co-pilot, who worked for Flydubai for less than a year, allegedly attacked another pilot in an attempt to crash the aircraft. Smit Machchhar, a pilot of Indian origin, successfully stopped the attack. Authorities are now examining if the suspect held dual citizenship due to strict travel restrictions between Israel and Oman.
