Oh my gods! Mount Olympus added to UNESCO World Heritage Site list amid ‘The Odyssey’ hype

UNESCO has expanded its World Heritage Site list to include Mount Olympus, alongside the Taj Mahal, Machu Picchu, and the Great Wall of China. Additionally, Normandy's D-Day beaches have been added to the historic list. These beaches mark the location where Allied forces landed on June 6, 1944, to combat Adolf Hitler's Nazi troops and proceed with the liberation of France during World War II, preserving these significant historical and cultural landmarks for future generations.
