Ruby Princess cruise ship docked in SF hit by norovirus outbreak

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported a norovirus outbreak on the Ruby Princess, a Princess Cruises ship docked in San Francisco. Out of more than 3,000 passengers onboard, 102 individuals have been affected by the virus. Additionally, 23 crewmembers have fallen ill. The CDC is monitoring the situation as symptoms manifest among the affected group. The vessel remains in California while health authorities manage the impact of the outbreak on the ship.
