Novato police order residents to shelter in place

Novato police ordered residents on Calle Arboleda and Alameda del Prado to shelter in place following a shooting that left one person injured. A large presence of emergency vehicles and personnel is currently in the area to conduct a police investigation. Authorities have deployed a helicopter and drone team to assist with the operation. Residents must remain indoors until the investigation concludes and the police determine that the area is safe for the public.
