NY: Halloween Decorations Start Going On Sale

Retail stores in New York have officially begun offering Halloween decorations for purchase. Specifically, Walgreens locations within the Queens borough were observed selling Halloween jack-o'-lantern buckets on September 7. This early availability marks the start of the seasonal retail cycle for holiday-themed merchandise in the city, as stores prepare for the upcoming festivities by stocking various festive items for consumers to buy well in advance of the actual holiday date in October.
