San Jose city worker killed on the job

A City of San Jose transportation department employee suffered fatal injuries while repairing a streetlight on Tuesday. Mayor Matt Mahan and city officials noted the worker was acting to keep drivers and pedestrians safe. Additionally, police activity was reported Tuesday night near Lick Avenue and Willow Street in San Jose.
