Do AI coding agents search the web in your language? I tested Claude Code and Codex in 5 languages

Research on Claude Code and Codex shows that for global topics, 205 of 206 searches were in English, regardless of the input language. For local topics, Claude Code searched in the local language 82% of the time. Separately, Runquay has been launched as an MIT-licensed local work queue.
