One dead, another injured after shooting on Northeast Side of Columbus

A shooting occurred Friday evening at a residence on Avery Lane in Bridgeton, Missouri, located just off Interstate 70. Police responded to the scene shortly before 6 p.m., where they discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One man was killed during the incident, while another individual was injured. Authorities were called to the neighborhood to manage the scene and investigate the circumstances surrounding the gunfire that left one person dead.
