One dead, another seriously injured in Lovell crash

Three drivers were injured Thursday morning on the I-990 Expressway in Amherst after a car driven by a 29-year-old Buffalo woman hit a guard rail and crashed into a dump truck. Separately, police reported a fatal accident on Main Street in Lovell. A 25-year-old woman was pronounced dead upon the arrival of rescue crews, while another individual sustained serious injuries. Both incidents involved significant vehicle collisions resulting in casualties and emergency responses.
