"Open source Windows" ReactOS finally reaching Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 level, gets NTFS support.

The open-source Windows alternative ReactOS is advancing its capabilities to align with Vista, Windows 7, 8, and 8.1. A major milestone has been achieved as the project now introduces significantly improved NTFS support. Specifically, ReactOS has gained NTFS install support through the implementation of a new driver. This development marks a critical step forward in the project's goal of providing a functional open-source equivalent to the proprietary Microsoft operating system environments.
