Offering Zero Data Retention for frontier models

OpenAI has introduced Zero Data Retention (ZDR) for frontier-model deployments and a Private Safety Processing layer for enterprise customers. ZDR ensures that OpenAI does not retain customer prompts or model responses after individual requests are completed. Additionally, enterprise data is not used for training OpenAI models without explicit customer opt-in. This combination allows businesses to maintain control over sensitive data while preserving essential safety monitoring to identify harmful patterns or policy-violating content within their AI deployments.
