OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra begins rolling out to ChatGPT subscribers after select early access

OpenAI has launched GPT-6 Astra, its new flagship large language model, now rolling out to ChatGPT subscribers, select organizations, and via the OpenAI API and AWS. Under the company's Preparedness Framework, Astra reached a Critical cybersecurity risk level, triggering specific deployment restrictions. Enterprise administrators must manually enable the model, which is off by default. Developers can access gpt-6-astra through Amazon Bedrock, with pricing set at $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens.
