Options for Victory in Iran

Iranian leaders claim victory by surviving a year where the United States and Israel dismantled the Islamic Republic's military and gutted its nuclear program. Despite the death of its supreme leader, surviving officials insist that endurance constitutes triumph. However, while the war considerably degraded Iranian capabilities, it has not resulted in regime change or any softening of the regime's stance, leaving a gap between the regime's claims of success and the actual strategic reality.
