Motorcyclist dies after crash on DuSable Lake Shore Drive in Lake View

A 20-year-old motorcyclist died Saturday night after losing control on DuSable Lake Shore Drive in Lake View. The man struck a barrier, fell into oncoming traffic, and was hit by a car. Despite being transported to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, he was pronounced dead. The CPD Major Accidents Unit is currently investigating the incident, which occurred around 7:22 p.m. in the 2200 block of the roadway while the victim was traveling north.
