The Oregon attorney general's office has requested a 60-day delay regarding the closing of the Paramount-Warner Bros. merger. This request follows an ongoing investigation into potential antitrust law violations and allegations that the DOJ approval process was corrupt. Judge Eric Dahlin of the Multnomah County Superior Court is scheduled to hold a hearing on this motion this Monday. Consequently, Paramount has delayed the closure of the deal while the Oregon probe continues its legal review.
