Oscars: Thailand Selects ‘9 Temples to Heaven’ for International Feature Race

The National Federation of Motion Pictures and Contents Associations (MPC) has selected 9 Temples to Heaven as Thailand's official submission for the Best International Feature Film category at the 99th Academy Awards. Directed by Sompot Chidgasornpongse, the film is a multi-national co-production involving Singapore, France, Norway, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Qatar. The feature previously debuted in the Quinzaine competition at the Cannes Film Festival before being chosen by a specialist committee from the Thai film industry.
