Oscars: Japan Selects ‘All of a Sudden’ for International Feature Race

The Motion Picture Producers Association of Japan (Eiren) has selected Ryusuke Hamaguchi's film All of a Sudden as the official entry for the international feature category at the 99th Academy Awards. This marks the second time a Hamaguchi production has represented Japan, following the success of Drive My Car five years prior. Additionally, Neon intends to launch a comprehensive Oscars campaign for the drama, targeting the best picture, director, actress, and supporting actress categories.
