‘Other Desert Cities’ Review: Julia Louis-Dreyfus Gets Seriously Funny For Broadway Debut

Julia Louis-Dreyfus makes her Broadway debut in Other Desert Cities, a political-family drama written by Jon Robin Baitz. Set in a bright, open-floor home in Palm Springs, the play explores the repressed trauma and secrets of a wealthy family. This production gives the play a second life fifteen years after its original premiere starring Stockard Channing. Louis-Dreyfus is noted for bringing biting levity and serious humor to the role within this atmospheric theatrical production.
