Paint Louis puts new art on an old downtown St. Louis wall, for another year

The annual Paint Louis spray paint artist event took place on September 5-6, 2026, on the Mississippi River flood wall in downtown St. Louis. Dozens of artists from across the country participated, including Carlos Barboza, Maria Lopez, and artists known as Ichabod and Tox-M. Featured works included depictions of DC Comics villain Bane, a wild vocalist, and John Belushi. Attendees and cyclists visited the Wharf Street area to view and photograph the new urban art installations.
