Mall reopening brings renewed hope to Palisades community after devastating wildfires

Palisades Village in Los Angeles celebrated its grand reopening on Saturday, 19 months after the devastating Palisades Fire in January 2025. Owner Rick Caruso invested $100 million to renovate smoke-damaged buildings, which involved stripping structures to the studs and rebuilding interiors from scratch. The luxury mall, a landmark in the Pacific Palisades community since 2018, now brings renewed hope to the area following the massive devastation caused by the wildfires last year.
