Patrick Ness to Adapt ‘Dallergut Dream Department Store’ Novels For Disney Live Action

Disney Live Action is developing a feature film adaptation of the bestselling fantasy novel series The Dallergut Dream Department Store by Korean author Miye Lee. Patrick Ness, known for A Monster Calls, has been tapped to write the screenplay. This project marks the first installment in a planned movie trilogy. The story centers on Penny, a character who secures a dream job selling dreams to customers within a magical world, bringing the popular books to the big screen.
