US says BYD, Baidu and Alibaba are aiding China’s military

The Pentagon has updated its 1260H list to include Alibaba, Baidu, BYD, and the robotics firm Unitree. The Department of Defense announced on Monday that these entities are identified as supporting China’s military-civil fusion strategy. There are now 188 companies on this list that the US government claims operate within the United States while contributing to the Chinese military. This action reflects the US position that these specific firms are aiding China's military capabilities.
