‘Get it done,’ Trump says, urging Senate to pass permanent daylight saving time bill

Donald Trump has urged the Senate to pass a bill establishing permanent daylight saving time to end seasonal time changes. While Trump insisted that lawmakers 'get it done,' the legislation faces an uphill battle in the Senate. The bill currently encounters stiff opposition, making its path to approval difficult. The primary goal of the proposed legislation is to eliminate the practice of changing clocks twice a year, despite the significant resistance it faces from Senate members.
