Midtown Center data center that maybe wasn’t a data center is dead

The redevelopment of the former Midtown Center Walmart at 5825 W. Hope Ave. continues to progress. This project includes a Milwaukee Public Library branch, approximately 200 affordable housing units, self-storage, civic space, and a 19,000-square-foot computing research facility. Separately, ID Logistics announced an $83 million investment at the I-895 Logistics Center in Henrico. Developed by Ashley Capital at 7001 S. Laburnum Ave., the facility is projected to create 1,000 new jobs for the local region.
