Spectators brave rainy weather to see 67th Annual Chicago Air and Water Show

The 67th Annual Chicago Air and Water Show began Saturday at 12 p.m. following a ninety-minute rain delay. Held along the lakefront from Fullerton Avenue to Oak Street, the event is the largest free show of its kind in the U.S. Headliners include the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the U.S. Army Golden Knights. Despite the rainy weather, spectators gathered at North Avenue Beach to witness the military and civilian air demonstrations during the two-day summer showcase.
