Volunteers from human chain to move Brentwood library books to new building

On Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, more than 350 volunteers formed a human chain to transport books from the Brentwood Library to a new building located at 2201 S. Brentwood Boulevard. The participants, including children like Vargas Torno, Eda Ince, and Luca Mounts, moved the collection a 1/3 of a mile down Brentwood Boulevard. Following the effort, volunteers gathered to sign their names on an event poster to commemorate the community relocation project.
