Photos: Fulton Sheen beatified before massive crowd in St. Louis

Approximately 50,000 Catholics gathered at The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis on Thursday, September 24, 2026, for the beatification of Archbishop Fulton Sheen. Often called the nation's first televangelist, Sheen is now one step closer to sainthood. The event featured a reliquary presentation by the Engstrom family and a homily delivered by Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle during a mass where attendees, including Kevin Cook and Mark Hall, participated in prayer and worship.
