‘Pippi Longstocking’ Animated Series in the Works With StudioCanal, Heyday Films, Submarine and the Astrid Lindgren Company (EXCLUSIVE)

StudioCanal is collaborating with Heyday Films, Submarine, and The Astrid Lindgren Company to develop a new animated TV series featuring Pippi Longstocking. This project is designed as a modern reboot using 3D CGI animation, consisting of 52 episodes with an 11-minute duration each. Screenwriter Sara Daddy is currently penning the script for the series, which focuses on the beloved literary heroine created by author Astrid Lindgren, bringing the kind girl with red pigtails to screens.
