Two dead as private jet crashes in Dominican Republic en route to pick up MLB legend and his family

A chartered private jet crashed at a Dominican Republic airport during an attempted emergency landing shortly after takeoff, killing two US pilots. The aircraft was bound for Austin, Texas, to pick up St. Louis Cardinals legend Yadier Molina and his family. Both the pilot and co-pilot died in the fiery accident. The crash occurred just a few minutes after the plane departed, resulting in the immediate loss of the flight crew members.
